How do I create an account?

You can Create an account at the top of the page using the "Log In" Dropdown and clicking on "Sign Up."

How long is my account valid?

Accounts are valid indefinitely.

Will my account ever get deleted?

No, your account will not ever get deleted, unless you choose to Delete/Deactivate your account from your "My Account" page.

Alternatively, if a user violates CAGunTrader's Terms & Conditions and/or Privacy Policy, their account may result in a Suspension, Ban, or Termination.

My account information is incorrect, what do I do?

Don't fret, ALL account information can be edited/updated from your "My Account" page, including your Username & Email Address.

Email Address changes WILL REQUIRE re-verification before your account can use the Messenger System and be able to Create/Edit Listings.

How do I know it's a legit seller?

It is the Buyer's due diligence to determine if a Seller is genuine, and to avoid any possible scams, baits, etc. Please review our Anti-Scam Policy for a better guide.

We plan to introduce a modernized Rating/iTrader System in the future, as well as a possible ID.me integration. Any progress would be mentioned in our Changelogs.

How do I contact a seller?

You can contact any seller while viewing a specific Listing and using the "Message" button, or if a Seller has there Phone # not hidden, you can also Call/Text at your own discretion.

How do I Create a Listing?

It's very easy to Create a Listing: click on the button "Create Listing".

What does it cost?

All new listings created are free! You may choose other listing types with premium features, all priced according to what they offer.

If I post an listing, will I also get more spam e-mails?

Absolutely not, because your email address is not visible on the website, nor shared with any third parties.

The only emails you may receive from CAGunTrader.com are Messenger notifications and/or CAGunTrader.com Email Newsletters via the Newsletter Subscription.

How long will my listing remain on the website?

In general, a listing is automatically deactivated (archived) from the website after 14 Days, and permanently deleted from the website after another 7 Days.

The deactivation date is determined from the date and time a listing is created.

Of course, with more premium listing types, they offer longer listing durations, however, this does not change the deactivated (archived) deadline when a listing will be permanently deleted, which remains 7 Days.

I sold my item. How do I mark it sold?

Once your product is sold, from your "My Listings" page, you can edit that specific listing and set it's "Sale Status" to Sold.

This will leave the listing visible for 7 Days as "Sold" and then deactivate (archive) it for another 7 Days before it is permanently deleted.

It is the Buyer's & Seller's due diligence and resposibility in doing their research when determining if their item is CA Legal.

I bought an item from the seller, and it ended up being a scam. What happens?

If you did not review our Anti-Scam Policy, and still ended up getting scammed during a sale, nothing can be done by CAGunTrader.com, as stated in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

We still advise reporting their user account and/or listing to us for review and applicable action to be taken, as well as reporting any individual to local law enforcement.

Scams involving firearms are VERY serious.
